Did You Know? Message Color

Did You Know? Message Color zimbralogo_colorsThere is a fantastic (yet hard-to-find) feature that enables you to set the color of your email messages to match the color of the applied tag. So, if you apply a yellow tag to a message, the message will be displayed in yellow in your inbox.

To enable this feature:

1. Click the Preferences tab, and select Mail. In the Displaying Messages area, select the Message Color option, as shown below.

Note: Don’t forget to click Save.

message_5F00_color

Before enabling Message Color, my inbox looked like this:

no_5F00_message_5F00_color

Now it looks like this, with the tag color applied to the entire message.

with_5F00_message_5F00_color

Would be nice to have that in the desktop client (not to mention an actual native desktop client).

I would have to agree with that. I hope it will be available soon.

I’ve been doing this for quite some time now…if something isn’t colored in my inbox then it doesn’t belong in my inbox.
