    Hi Jorge,

Thank you for announcement, nice info.

    Maybe a little typo :

“Patch 3 is cumulative with Patch 1 and 2, so only Patch 3 is required in case that you didn’t installed the previous ones.”

It should be “Patch 4 is..” because we talk about Patch 4, isn’t it?

      Hi Vavai,
Thank you for the info! Fixed!

      Have a good day

    Hi Jorge,

    I still not understand.

Patch 4 is cumulative with Patch 1 and 2, so only Patch 4 is required in case that you didn’t installed the previous ones.

    So, patch 4 = Patch 1 + Patch 2. How about Patch 3?

    Thanks.

      Hi Danie,
Did you try the steps using the console like the Wiki said and didn’t work?

      Best regards

  5. Danie September 16, 2015 at 6:19 AM #

Hi Jorge, my account is gurgel@secrel.net.br :

    [zimbra@mail ~]$ zmprov ma gurgel@secrel.net.br zimbraPrefTabInEditorEnabled TRUE
ERROR: account.INVALID_ATTR_NAME (invalid attr name: invalid attr name – unable to modify attributes: zimbraPrefTabInEditorEnabled: attribute type undefined)

As I understand it, this issue has been identified in ZCS 8.6 and will be fixed in 8.7?

    • Jorge de la Cruz September 16, 2015 at 6:29 AM #

      Hi Danie,
Thank you for the info, I’ve just tried in my lab as you right now, and that wiki article is for 8.7 unfortunately. We need to wait until then.

I’ve edited that Wiki article to mark it like 8.7
      Best regards!

  9. David Rowe October 12, 2015 at 2:04 PM #

    Hi Jorge,

Thanks for putting this together. We are about to implement Patch4 on our Zimbra server but we would like to know about bugs that occur after the patch. It is my understanding that there is a way to track bugs based on Zimbra patch release(s).

We have a pretty bad bug right now where calendar events disappear when an organizer makes a modification to a recurring event, however we know this is fixed in Patch 4 as we did some extensive testing. What I would like to know is: When we install Patch 4, what should we look for regarding newer bugs.

  10. Caroline Mangan October 23, 2015 at 1:26 PM #

    Hi Jorge,

I’m piggybacking on David Rowe’s comment above for known issues with the patch 4 update. We’ve noticed some formatting issues and would like to know if these will be remedied. Email signatures are pulling different font sizes per line and some of our users are experiencing fonts and font sizes being force changed when entering a line break etc.

    Thanks,
    Caroline

    • Jorge de la Cruz October 23, 2015 at 3:19 PM #

      Hi Caroline & David,
The best way to track this issues is if you can open a Bugzilla in https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/enter_bug.cgi and provide there some screenshot, tiny video, and mailbox.log, and our Engineers then will address the issues.

      Best regards

    • Jorge de la Cruz October 27, 2015 at 3:12 PM #

      Hi Jefferson,
That’s an expected behavior, it’s inside the Release Notes. You don’t need to be worry, you are keep running the FOSS version.

      Best regards

Any chance this little being fixed in Patch 5? (https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=99712)
Some customers have complained … taking advantage when the new patch will be released?

    Otro gran error que tiene la version 8.6 con o sin parche4 en el navegador chrome corriendo en windows es que se desconecta del servidor aleatoriamente a veces puede ser 3 o 4 veces al dia o 20 veces al dia. Pero con mozilla no me pasa este error, trabaja perfecto.}

Espero hagan hincapie en estos bugs..

    Saludos de Perú.
