Did You Know? Email and SMS Notifications
Did you know that you can set your Notification preferences in Zimbra?
By default, a reminder for a calendar activity or a task is a pop-up notification in your browser window.
You can create an email notification and/or an SMS notification using the Notifications page in Zimbra Preferences.
Note: Your organization may have this functionality disabled.
To enable email and/or SMS notifications:
1. Click the Preferences tab.
2. Click the Notifications option.
3. Complete the fields.
When you next create a calendar appointment or task, you will see new options in the Reminder area, as shown below.
– Click the Email box to send a reminder to your email address.
– Click the SMS box to send a text reminder to your smart phone.
