Did You Know? Using Filters Part 2: Running a Filter
Did you know that you can run a filter in Zimbra on your existing email contents?
In last week’s post, we created the Manager Email filter. This filter is in the Active Filters list, and all incoming email messages will be processed for this filter.
However, what about the email already in my account? You can run the filter on existing email content using the Run Filter button.
Select the folder(s) to which you want to apply the filter, then click OK.
The message indicates that there were:
- 29 messages processed (29 messages in the Inbox)
- 8 messages were affected (moved to the Manager Email folder)
