I am proud to announce that Zimbra’s Chief Financial Officer, Kristin Reichert, was selected as a finalist for the 2013 Dallas Business Journal CFO of the Year Award. The award honors financial professionals in the Dallas metroplex for their leadership, contributions to the local community and outstanding performance in their roles as corporate financial stewards.
With nearly 15 years of finance experience under her belt and deep enterprise and software expertise, Kristin continually pushes beyond the boundaries of the traditional CFO role. In addition to overseeing the financial numbers for Zimbra, Kristin is also a key strategic and operational member of the company. In true leadership fashion, she makes sure that she has a handle on the pulse of the operations and assists with making sure that everything aligns with the overall corporate strategy.
Also, in addition to her day-to-day tasks, Kristin recently helped to successfully guide the company through a major acquisition and merger. As everyone knows, no acquisition is as simple as signing on the dotted line. A lot of hard work and preparation from Zimbra’s finance team, led by Kristin, took place to make sure this acquisition was a success.
This is truly a well-deserved honor and, as a company, we are proud to see Kristin’s hard work and achievements recognized in the Dallas community. The finalists were recognized during a luncheon on October 24.
Congratulations, Kristin!
