OPSI, which stands for Open PC Server Integration, is an open-source software deployment and management solution designed primarily for Windows-based networks. It provides a comprehensive suite of tools for automating software deployment, patch management, inventory management, and system configuration across multiple computers in an organization’s network. OPSI is often used for rolling out Windows workstations using PXE within organizations.
While you can create OPSI packages yourself that allows you to update software on workstations, this is a tedious task that requires a lot of time from a Windows system administrator. However you can also subscribe to OPSI Update Subscription Plus which will provide software updates for commonly used software products, including Zimbra Connector for Outlook!
