Was Zimbra 8.8.13 and 8.8.14 skipped?

I see that – 8.8.12 End of General Support 9/30/2019. That’s pretty quick. Hasn’t 8.8.12 only been out a few months?

    • Gayle Billat August 1, 2019 at 8:50 PM #

Hi David – correct, we did not have 8.8.13 or 8.8.14 releases. And correct again that 8.8.12 will reach the end of General Support 9/30/2019. We recommend that all customers upgrade to Zimbra 8.8.15 to ensure their systems have the best security features, and 8.8.15 will have General Support through 12/31/2022. Thanks

Hi – Legacy backup is still available in 8.8.15 but it is deprecated. If you have NG enabled, it will compete for resources. Thanks!

Hi – 8.8.15 EGS is 12/31/2022. The Product Team decided recently to extend EGS 12/31/2019 and ETG to 6/25/2019. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

How it’s possible that Connect still doesn’t support external videoconference? If I want to invite somebody from outside of our corporation we can’t.

    • Gayle Billat August 23, 2019 at 6:33 PM #

Hi – STUN and TURN servers are supported, but we also have improvements coming in patches 1 & 2 for Zimbra 8.8.15. Thanks for your patience!

Is Zimbra 8.8.15 or its patch going to support CentOS8?

    • Gayle Billat September 30, 2019 at 6:31 PM #

Hi – I am checking with the product team to see if this is on our roadmap. Thanks.
