At Zimbra, we have many great customers in a wide range of industries, from financial services (H&R Block), to healthcare (Huntsville Hospital), to manufacturing (Middleville Tool and Die). Recently we have begun picking up steam in the education market, and we have been lucky to have over 300 educational institutions around the globe as customers.
A bunch of us in the office are also big-time basketball fans, and the other day as we began to place or picks for the 2008 NCAA basketball tournaments, we noticed a recurring theme – a lot of the teams playing in the tournament are also Zimbra customers!
All in all, there are 11 customer schools competing in the D-1 Men’s tournament, making almost 20% of the schools in the tournament Zimbra customers. With 10 schools competing in the Women’s D-1 tournament – it seems that at least one of the schools which run Zimbra Collaboration Suite will be destined for victory!
We noticed a few new Zimbra customers with campus-wide deployments participating in the big dance this year: Texas A & M – a 9 seed in the Men’s West and a 2 seed for Women – has 80,000 mailboxes for students, faculty and staff. Georgia Tech – a 10 seed for Women – has over 60,000 mailboxes for students, faculty and staff (sorry Georgia Tech Men)!
Other campus wide and departmental deployment customers we are pulling for include: number 1 seeds UCLA and University of North Carolina (departmental); 2 seed University of Texas (departmental); 3 seed Wisconsin in the Midwest (alumni association); and sentimental favorite 16 seed Bucknell (campus).
Rounding out the crew are many formidable teams such as University of Miami and Mississippi State (7 and 8 seeds in the Men’s South); Indiana (8 seed in the East), Vanderbilt (a 4 seed in both tournaments), Michigan State (5 seed Men’s South) as well as numerous schools competing in the Women’s tournament – including Iowa State, Rutgers, and Ohio State.
We want to wish all our customers the best of luck in bringing home the national championship!
Spot on with this write-up, I really suppose this web site wants way more consideration. I’ll in all probability be again to read rather more, thanks for that info.
