Zimbra Feature Request Process

Satish had a great idea today. Rather than follow the Zimbra Product Management process he tried his favorite tactic… Just ask an engineer. Well since some of the things Satish asks for aren’t that well thought out he was prepared for any backlash.

The picture is worth more than a 1000 words.

Lucky for Satish today; Tim granted his wish. Can’t talk about the feature yet but it’ll be in a beta release soon.

    Requesting: Copy email to folder,
Right click on any email.. Copy To Folder—>

Reason: We have many customer accounts and when receiving say an email
from a vendor with pricing for 3 accounts within that single email
we save the email by customer. Thunderbird does have this feature.

    Thanks

Feature: Sort by Date SAVES on restart of client.
Users are sorting by the date bar but when you jump out and back into window or
restart web browser client its always sorted by time. Yes I know it doesnt make sense but some want this feature. Guessing it can be a Preference.

    Thanks
