We have only one week left to our biggest event around our Community and Developers: COMMIT in NYC. While we expect all of you next week, we are busy with our new two-week cycle for Maintenance Releases. The new Maintenance Release cycle will help us accelerate the resolution of bugs and patches for Customers.

We have some good news, this Release include a Technical Preview for the new S/MIME Zimlet, which doesn’t require the Java Applet and it works in all modern Web Browsers, we have also an updated Admin Guide on GitHub, including a special section for all the introduced changes.

Will the new S/MIME Zimlet be available for FOSS edition? I am assuming the restrictions previously were due to licensing of the Java applet implementation components.
