Join Us for the Zimbra User Group Conference

I am pleased to announce that Zimbra is hosting a combined user group conference with Telligent, September 23-25 at the W Hotel in Dallas, Texas. Named The Big Social, the event is celebrating its third year with Telligent and its first for Zimbra. The Big Social provides a venue for customers and partners to learn, share best practices, and network among peers.

The Big Social 2013 features four training workshops, four different learning tracks, and keynote presentations from industry leaders. Moreover, it provides customers and partners with an early view into upcoming product enhancements and the opportunity to contribute your ideas for our product roadmap. The event also includes a partner pavilion where our technology partners showcase their work with our product, demo stations where our engineers demonstrate the latest product releases, as well as a social media lounge where you have the opportunity to relax, network, and earn cool prizes for interacting in our online communities.

What makes The Big Social unique is that it is designed for our users, by our users. For example, the event features workshops and learning tracks that have been created by Zimbra and Telligent customers and partners from more than 20 different companies. This year, you’ll hear from speakers from organizations such as: Cox Communications, Emerson, Texas Instruments, the United States Department of Defense (DOD) All Partners Access Network (APAN), and many more.

    Will these sessions be made available online after the conference?

    We are an MSP who recommends, hosts, and manages Zimbra for our clients in Asia. We are based in Hong Kong.

    A trip to Dallas is a bit far for us.

    Particularly, we are interested in the Product Roadmap session.

    The recent Zimbra Official Newsletter announced The Big Social conference and mentioned the “complimentary upgrade workshop”. I would like to know how to sign up for that workshop. Thanks.

    @David – Currently we do not have plans to make these sessions available online after the conference. Although we would love to have you at the conference, we understand that coming from Hong Kong would be quite a trip. And of course we do not want to leave any of you who can’t make it in the dark. So, likely after the conference is over, we will publish a blog post that gives an overview of the product roadmap. Also, I will touch base with the conference chair to see if there is anything else that we will be publishing after the conference. As soon as I have an additional update, I will let you know.     @Patrick – That workshop is just one session that you can choose to attend that is part of the overall conference. In order to sign up to attend a workshop or any session, you must sign up to attend the conference. You can register for the conference here: Hopefully that helps!
